A costume head is a useful accessory. It’s not always necessary, but it will make your costume more authentic. Whether you’re dressing as a monster or a mummy, a costume head can help bring your character to life. But there are some things you should keep in mind when choosing a costume head. First of all, it should fit properly. It shouldn’t block your vision, which is why it should be comfortable.
A costume head should fit over your own head and over a ceramic mug that holds a balloon. Next, mix a mixture of 3/4 cups of white glue with a quarter cup of water. Tear strips of newspaper into 1-inch-wide strips, then layer them over the top of the costume head. Once you have covered the whole head, let it dry. You can now tape on features, such as eyes, to form a face.
