How to Make a Costume Pikachu

Pikachu costumes are a fun, inexpensive way to dress up this Halloween. They’re easy to make and more unique than store-bought ones.

Start with a bright yellow shirt and leggings. It’s important to choose a shade of yellow that doesn’t clash with the rest of your outfit, so it’s best to find a solid color and dye it at home rather than a pastel or light-colored item.

To add to the fun, you can also dye your hair to match your costume. This will help you stand out from the crowd and look super cute.

You can even use a headband to help keep your ears perked up! You can buy one at a craft or Halloween store, but you could easily make your own with a piece of cardboard.

During Pokemon Go’s annual Christmas event, players are given a chance to catch event costume Pokemon, many of which feature festive hats and bells. This year’s release features a Santa hat wearing Pikachu and a Stantler with a set of bells, among others.

There are several other costumed variants of popular Pokemon to look out for in Pokemon Go, including Mimikyu, Squirtle, and a handful of Gen 1 starters. While it’s not exactly exciting to see shiny versions of these Pokemon, they would be more appealing if the costumes were actually shiny, too.
