Get a Custom Xbox Controller Made Just For You

For those who aren’t satisfied with the plain, one-color controllers that come standard on an Xbox, this custom xbox controller offers a pretty great alternative at a reasonable premium. It’s $20 more expensive than a standard controller, but you get to kit it out in whatever colors you like and can add laser engraving for an extra $10.

If you want a more bespoke option, third-party manufacturers like The Controller Shop can whip up much crazier designs, but they’ll cost you. The Xbox Design Lab process is painless and actually quite fun, with plenty of options to choose from for every major component. You can remap button inputs, save up to three profiles, and swap out thumbstick toppers, D-pads, and paddles to tailor the control layout for your gaming style.

You can also customize the Elite Core with a few more options than the standard controller, including a plus-shaped or circular direction pad in 10 different metallic finishes and personalized thumbstick caps and base rings (23 choices each). Finally, the face and menu buttons are customizable too, with multiple color and pattern combinations. And for those who aren’t a fan of the Elite’s textured grips, there’s an optional rubberized surface that replaces them.

Fans of the comic books can check out a special collaboration between Marvel and Xbox, with a series of 11 controllers based on different X-Men characters. Each comes in a special blister pack that’s inspired by the 90s-era packaging of the original action figures.
