Costume National Perfume Review

A perfume with an innate sense of place

The brand carries a modern soul and is rooted in Italian tailoring: Costume National Scents is a line of structured and modern fragrances.

CN Homme is a woody spiced scent with a rich base of sandalwood and cinnamon. It combines classic, warm and edible cinnamon with soft sandalwood to produce an incense-like smell that is made spicier with cloves and cardamom.

It has a lot of depth and character which makes it different to the two other scents from the line, V&R Spicebomb and Bvlgari Man In Black. It is also a bit more masculine and can be worn by both men and women alike.

This is a well-blended fragrance and works for any occasion or season. It is great for a casual day out, and is ideal for those who like to dress up but want a scent that doesn’t feel overpowering.

I think that this is a very well-rounded fragrance that I will keep in my collection. I can see myself wearing it many times, and will definitely recommend it to others!

The scent is a bit hard to describe at first, but as it dries down you can really pick out the cinnamon, sandalwood, and other spices. It is very spicy – I would say that it is similar to Lutens – but with a more woody, dry, cinnamon and sandalwood vibe. There are some dry fruits in it as well which are very interesting.
